All Strickland Brothers locations offer drive thru oil change services. Our oil change services include:

• Emission & Inspection Services

Visit any of our convenient North Carolina locations for the annual safety & emissions inspection of your vehicle. Strickland Brothers performs state and locally defined vehicle safety inspections and emissions testing in NC.

• Safety Inspection

An annual safety inspection is required to make sure your vehicle is operating safely, and is 'road-worthy'. It includes checks to the headlights, accessory lights, directional signals, foot brake, parking brake, steering and windshield wipers.  Exemptions: Vehicles, 35 years or older, are not required to pass an annual safety inspection in North Carolina.

• On-Board Diagnostics

The State of North Carolina is fighting ozone-forming emissions from gasoline-operated cars and light duty trucks. Inspections are conducted using the vehicle’s on-board diagnostic (OBD) system, computerized equipment installed on all new vehicles since 1996. Currently, emissions inspections are required in 48 counties in North Carolina.

Exemptions: Model 1995 vehicles, or older, Diesel-operated vehicles, Vehicles licensed under the farmer rate.
